The Delta II is one of the nation's workhorse launchers. This versatile vehicle has lofted payloads into Earth orbit such as the Iridium constellation of satellites to the Pathfinder and Mars Global Surveyor spacecraft to Mars. The kit comes with three different shrouds for making the myriad of configurations this rocket has flown. This kit was originally designed and released by Rho Models, and with the closing of that company it is now available again from RealSpace Models.Model stands approx. 13 inches tall.
